This is the kidney stone pulled out of my left ureter on August 31, 2007. After 2 Emergency Room visits, 2 nights in the hospital and a day surgery to remove it, I now have a bill totally somewhere near $15,000 (i'm not exactly sure because i haven't received all the bills yet).
I had to pay for the surgery before hand, and the only thing I could do was put it on my American Express credit card. I'm grateful that they let me put the charge on the card, otherwise I wouldn't have had the surgery and would likely be in quite a bit of pain today.
As I hope most of you know, I'm an international medical student spending most of my time in Poland and living off of student loans. I have very limited money and I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with this bill. I certainly don't have the money to pay for it.
So I've decided to take donations! I realize that I may not get a dime from this, but I thought I'd give it a shot. If you'd like more information about my surgery and the stone, please feel free to contact me! You can me john at parastie dot com.
